J-Servers is a one-person business, and that is deliberate. The person who answers the phone is the person who quotes the job, does the work, and rings you back about it afterwards. Nothing gets handed to a call centre in another state, and nothing gets lost between one department and the next.

We cover the North-West Coast of Tasmania with a mobile service, so most work happens wherever the machine already is - your office, your kitchen table, or the site you are working from. Anything that cannot be finished there comes back to the workshop and is returned when it is done.

The work splits two ways. On one side, the phones and internet a business runs on: PTT radio, hosted phone systems, SIP trunks, NBN and mobile plans. On the other, the ordinary computer work - repairs, backups, networks, and the support that stops the same problem happening every month.

Being small has one real advantage worth stating plainly: there is no incentive to sell you something bigger than you need. If a repair is not worth doing, we will say so rather than quote you for a new machine. If a cheaper plan covers what you actually use, that is the one we will put you on.
